Black moves first. Put a disc on a square with a dot: a white disc must end up trapped in a straight line between your new disc and another black disc.

The rules of Reversi in short
Reversi is a game for 2 players on a board of 8×8 squares. Each disc is black on one side and white on the other. The game starts with 4 discs in the center, and Black moves first.
A move places a disc so that one or more of your opponent's discs are trapped in a straight line – across, up and down or diagonally – between the new disc and another of your discs. All the trapped discs flip to your color.
Every move must flip at least one disc. If you have no such move, you pass and your opponent moves again. The game ends when neither player can move, and the player with more discs wins.
